My buddy, Joe Russo, was hounding me last night to get some of my old scans up on the site. Sadly, that’s a feat of time and energy that I just don’t have time for any time soon. However, I do have a handful of photos that I scanned a few years back that have been collecting dust. I’ll try to start posting them over the next few months. First up is a classic  Murphy’s Law photo shot at Coney Island on July 28, 1996. This was one of the band’s first shows in support of their then-new album “Dedicated”.

The running joke, at the time, was that Jimmy G had a broken limb at every local show. He had recently performed at Asbury Park’s Convention Hall with a cast on his leg, and was regularly seen with a cane. But that never slowed him down. The guy is an amazing performer and I’m so glad the band is still performing regularly, albeit with all limbs intact.

Side note: Strung Out and Diesel Boy opened the show.
