We’ve decided to change things up a bit with the big 5-0 and have launched a new monthly segment called The Punk Rock Canon where we argue the merits of a legendary punk record and vote on whether or not it should be eternally canonized (yes, we completely stole this idea from The Canon movie podcast). The first album to get the Mai Tai treatment is The Offspring’s multi-platinum record Smash — the top selling independent album of all time. The best part is that you get to vote on who makes it into the canon and who fades into obscurity. - 2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1½ teaspoon cloves
- 1½ cups sugar
- 1½ cups water
- 1½ cups orange juice
- 1½ cups apple cider
