This week on Mai Tai Happy Hour, we go long with an action-packed episode teeming with awesome. First up, we review Host, the brilliant new horror movie on Shudder created for this COVID-era world we live in. It features a Zoom seance gone wrong and that’s all I’m going to say.

Bad Religion frontman, Greg Graffin, released my favorite acoustic album, American Lesion, in 1997 and it’s finally been reissued on vinyl and I am just going to gush over it for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, it’s Shark Week on Discovery network and they decided it would be smart to train Mike Tyson to swim with sharks, to help him get over his fear of the toothed aquatic terrors. The resulting hour-long show might be worth your while.

Then there’s the Perry Mason season 1 finale, which fired on all cylinders, even though it has one of the most convoluted plots I’ve ever tried to figure out. Here’s our spoiler-full review.

Finally, Hambone goes full madman on Chris Jericho over the wrestler’s idiotic choice to perform at Sturgis, in front of hundreds of thousands of bikers with no masks or social distancing. Guys, this ones ugly.
