The Mai Tai Happy Hour “Punk Rock Canon” continues with Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, the debut album by the Dead Kennedys. Ken brought this one to the table and it’s up to him to prove that this seminal punk classic is worthy of the greatest canon in the universe. We also spend a decent amount of time talking about the brilliant cult documentaries that have sprung up in the past year, including Wild, Wild Country, Waco and The Women of Jonestown.
The news of the return of the Asbury Lanes has been divisive, to say the least, so we figured now would be a good time to discuss our favorite defunct punk clubs and be all adult and talk about why some people might want to take a breath and give the new Lanes a chance (or not). Finally, Big Black joins us again to offer his opinion on whether Hulk Hogan can ever return to the WWE and if he does, whether the black community should accept his apology. All this and Hambone closes out March Mixer Madness with a doozy of a cocktail.
