This week on Mai Tai Happy Hour, we review the latest spinoff from the Silence of the Lambs saga, Clarice, and give our honest opinion as to whether or not a series based off the Hannibal character, but that can’t even mention Hannibal Lechter’s name, is worth your time. We also review Monster Hunter, a big budget film that tries to explain the question no one asked: what would happen if the world of Dungeons and Dragons was invaded by the US Army?
Meanwhile, Young Rock premiered, featuring our beloved Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson running for president and describing his life through flashbacks. There’s a good chance your favorite ’80s wrestler is in this show and that alone makes it worth 20 minutes of your time. We have an early look and thoughts on what other wrestler would make for a good sitcom. Finally, I review I Care A Lot, a Netflix exclusive film about rotten people doing horrible things and boy does it deliver.
