This week on Mai Tai Happy Hour, we review the new Frank Grillo action thriller, which features the popular Groundhog Day gimmick, but this time, repeating the same day just makes him angrier. I got to binge what I thought was going to be a Netflix romantic drama, but it turns out that Behind Her Eyes is actually an existential sci-fi thriller about revenge. Dave Smalley is back with a new Down By Law album called Lonely Town and it’s really, really good. I talk about almost getting choked out by him at my first DBL show. We also have a review of the newly released PS5 edition of the 2019 game of the year, Control. Finally, Harvey calls in to give his perspective on Coming 2 America and does a great job explaining to us why black people don’t love it.
