Peacemaker, Yellowjackets, The Meteors live review, Eternals

John Cena is back as Peacemaker in a spinoff to the Suicide Squad sequel that no one asked for, but I’m very glad we got. For those that didn’t watch or forgot, Suicide Squad 2 dropped on HBO Max mid-last year and it was amazing. I will gladly call it my favorite DC movie. That said, the first one was so bad that no one watched the new one. Now there’s a spinoff and it carries forward all the absurd humor that made the sequel movie great. We have a full review.

Yellowjackets just wrapped up on Showtime and this is the best series Showtime has put on in forever. Follow a girls’s soccer team as they crash land into a tropical forest and it basically turns into Lost meets Lord of the Flies, but with flashbacks. Trust me, it’s better than it sounds. I got to see The Meteors at QXTs in Newark last week and have a ton of thoughts on going to my first indoor concert since COVID started, and we finally review Eternals, which dropped on Disney+.
