This week on Mai Tai Happy Hour, Hambone and I review the true story of my early life, now available on Netflix as the anime series, Blood of Zeus. This is the story about the long lost child of Zeus, named George, that rises up against the Gods and takes over Mount Bloomfield! Or something like that.
After years of me begging, Hambone finally relented and Pencey Prep’s “Heartbreak in Stereo” is finally coming to a record player near you (and it sold out in hours). Hambone talks about what it means to have his first vinyl album and whether this is the closure he was looking for.
We also review the new Koffin Kat’s record, “Victor & Koffinfunkle E.P.” It’s acoustic and it’s awesome. Finally, we look back at Home Alone, 30 years later and tell you whether it still holds up.
