The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Spiral, Lisey’s Story, new Rise Against record

The third installment of the most beloved modern horror movies just received simultaneous release in theaters and on HBO Max and we couldn’t be happier. The Conjuring series might have hit a speed bump or two with the Nun, but watching Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren take on the devil is a pure pleasure.

Meanwhile, there’s a SAW spinoff called Spiral, featuring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson that no one asked for, but might actually revitalize the dead franchise. We have a full review.

Apple TV also just launched Lisey’s Story, an adaptation of the Stephen King story featuring Julianne Moore in her best role in years. But is the story any good? We have thoughts. Finally, Rise Against return with a new record called Nowhere Generation that sounds a lot like Rise Against. Get ready to rock!
