AFI is back with a new album called “Bodies” and it’s beginning to sound a lot more like The Cure in Davey Havok’s brain. We’re also struggling to differentiate AFI with Blaqk Audio and whether there’s a place for both bands in the world. Loki finally dropped on Disney+ and it is a completely different show, in looks and feel, than both WandaVision and Falcon & Winter Solder and that’s a good thing. We have early thoughts.
Meanwhile. Mare of Easttown wrapped up on HBO and we binged the whole murder mystery in a day and loved it. Here’s why you shouldn’t sleep on the best small-town whodunit. Then we wrapped it all up with a review of The Dry, a very, ahem, dry movie that shares the same plot as Mare, but does it completely differently.
