We finally got to see A Quiet Place Part 2 and it might be the first great horror movie of 2021. We discuss whether it’s as good as the first and whether we could service against strange, deaf, spider monsters. Death From Above 1979 have a new record called “Is 4 Lovers” and it harkens back to their glorious bass and drum dance-punk roots that made us fall in love with them close to two decades ago. False Positive from A24 just dropped on Hulu and it’s a brutal look at one woman’s struggle to give birth. This is a horror movie. The ending is striking, terrifying and disturbing, but it hits hard and should be watched with a clear head. I can’t say that for The Devil Below, which John loved but I thought was boring. He explains why I’m wrong.
